Frequently Asked
Questions
Q. Why should I use Faithful Friends Pet Cremation Center?
A. One of our reasons for going into business is because we love
pets. All of our staff are, and will always be, pet parents. We
understand the grief of losing a pet. We pride ourselves in dedicating
our business to PETS only.
We welcome visitors. In fact, we encourage visitors to come to our
Center. We have a viewing room into our work area. We want you to have
the opportunity to be as informed as possible about our company and the
cremation process.
Faithful Friends Pet Cremation Center is committed to working with pet
parents and veterinarians to provide the best service possible. We are
available 24 hours/7 days a week. It is our goal to not forget the pain
we felt when we lost our pets. We are resolved in our mission to care
for you and your pet when our services are required.
Q. What are the differences between Private and Communal
Cremation?
A. Private Cremation is used if you would like your pet cremains
(ashes) delivered back to you. It is our
policy that a private cremation means that only your pet will be placed
in the cremation chamber.
Communal Cremation is used when your desire is to not have the cremains
delivered back to you.
The cremains will be placed in a complimentary urn, along with a paw
print of your pet and a lock of
their hair.
We have a variety of urns to choose from, some from a local area artist.
We carry memorial headstones,
also from a local merchant, local artist's jewelry, along with many
other items to help you
memorialize your pet. Please visit our website for more information
www.faithfulfriendspcc.com.
Q. How Much Does Cremation Cost?
A.
Prices are based on the size of your pet, the service you request
and your urn selection. You can choose private (individual) or communal
cremation, which means with a private cremation you receive your pets
cremains (ashes) in a temporary container or an urn you have selected;
in a communal cremation you would not receive your pet's cremains.
Pickup and delivery fees will apply. Check our
Services page for specific pricing.
Q. What is the Cremation Process?
A. Cremation is the quickening of the natural process after the
pet has passed. The process takes
place in a state of the art facility, utilizing heat and flame that
returns the body to its original
elements.
Q. How do I know that I received my pet back?
A. Great question and one we are glad to answer. We only have two
methods of cremation, private and
communal. At
Faithful Friends a private cremation means “private”, your pet will be
placed in the cremation
chamber alone.
Our crematory is located at our facility; this means that once we take
possession of your pet they
are cared for by only our experience staff. We have a personalized tag
and a detailed process for your
pet that follows them through the entire cremation. Our facility also
has a viewing area if you would like to be present for the cremation.
Q. Can I be present when my pet is cremated?
A. Yes, in our viewing room we have a large window into our
cremation area for you to have the ability to
view the cremation. This service is by appointment only.
Q. Do I have to use a Veterinarian for this service?
A. Faithful Friends encourages you to use your veterinarian;
however, we can collect your pet directly
from your vet, your home, or you can come to our center.
Q. Losing my pet is very difficult for me, can you help?
A. Our staff understands the lost of a pet. We all have
experienced losing a pet and we want to help
you in your grief.
Q. How do I pay for the Cremation Service?
A. We accept cash, personal checks (2 forms of ID), Visa and
MasterCard.
Q. Why choose Cremation?
A. Cremations are clean, safe, environmentally friendly, and your
pet is easily transported.
